Every service we offer is backed by 45 years of Colorado climate knowledge — what materials hold, what plants thrive, and what designs last.
A complete outdoor transformation — from blank slate or failing yard to a cohesive, livable landscape that works for the Colorado climate and for your family.
We start with a thorough site analysis: sun exposure, existing drainage, soil type, slope, and your actual usage patterns. From there, we produce a full design drawing with plant palette, materials specification, phased project plan, and budget breakdown. Every design is custom — we don't use templates.
Colorado's climate demands water-smart landscaping. Our xeriscape designs reduce outdoor water use by 40–60% while producing spaces that are genuinely beautiful and require minimal maintenance.
We work with native and adapted plants — buffalo grass, blue grama, penstemons, ornamental grasses — combined with deep mulch zones, permeable hardscape, and smart drip irrigation. The result is a landscape that looks intentional in July and still looks alive in January.
Flagstone patios, retaining walls, garden steps, dry-stack borders, and boulder features built with Colorado's own materials — sandstone, granite, and river rock.
Stone work is the backbone of a lasting outdoor space. We cut, set, and seal our own flagstone; we dry-stack or mortar retaining walls depending on the load; and we source boulders from Colorado quarries where possible. Our stonework is designed to look as natural in 20 years as it does on installation day.
A built-in outdoor kitchen is the single highest-return outdoor living investment — and we design them to actually be used, not just photographed.
We build complete outdoor kitchens: built-in grill, side burner, refrigerator, prep counter, bar seating, overhead shelter, and storage. Countertop materials include granite, soapstone, and poured concrete. Every kitchen is wired for gas, GFCI electrical, and lighting by a licensed contractor we work with regularly.
A pergola changes how you use the backyard. A well-built fence changes how you feel in it. We design and build both with materials that hold up to Colorado winters.
Pergola options include cedar, redwood, and powder-coated steel with shade-sail or polycarbonate roof panels. Fencing options run from cedar privacy to horizontal composite, board-on-board, and custom metal panel. We also build arbors, trellises, and decorative garden gates.
Smart irrigation keeps your landscape alive without wasting water. Low-voltage lighting makes it beautiful after dark — and makes the property safer.
We design and install drip and spray irrigation systems zoned by plant type and sun exposure, with smart controllers compatible with your phone. For lighting, we use low-voltage LED path lights, spotlights, and uplights from Kichler and VOLT — warm 2700K colour temperature, weather-rated, on timer or dusk-to-dawn sensors.
A fire pit extends outdoor season by months. A water feature changes the sound of the yard. We build both to the standard that everything else on the site is held to.
Fire pit options include mortared stone, dry-stack boulder ring, and prefab steel insert. We connect to natural gas where available, or design for wood-burning. Water features range from simple bubbling boulders to recirculating pondless waterfalls with stacked-stone surrounds.
The 2023 ALCC Gold Elite Award for Plant Design is what happens when you spend 45 years learning which plants belong in Colorado soil.
We design planting plans for every scale — a single perennial border to a full-property native habitat garden. All our plant selections are appropriate to Boulder County's climate zone (5b/6a), sun exposure, and soil pH. We source from Colorado nurseries where possible and provide a one-season establishment guarantee on installed plants.
